CLASSIC MOC 8875 FROM THE IRISH SETTER COLLECTION In 1950, the Red Wing Shoe Co. created a boot designed specifically for sportsmen made with leather that was tanned with the bark of the sequoia tree, giving it an orange color. Named the “Irish Setter,” this boot gained immediate popularity. In Japan Irish Setter grew to a small collection of Iconic boots in the Heritage line. We got our hands on a few of these beautiful boots and where able to offer these in Europe to a few selected dealers. The 8875 comes with an Irish Setter woven label on the gusset and sits in an Irish Setter shoe box
